I had a good impression of Yamada-Nishiki a long time ago, so I decided to buy it since I hadn't seen it for a while.
I've seen it, but it's often not a draft sake, but a stored sake 💦.
I searched for someone who had had this and found it was Nemuchi 😁.
It has a mild umami flavor. I can't put it into words but it's a strange taste. I think Yamadanishiki has more sweetness.
Aga Town, Higashikanbara County.
100% Takananishiki
The aroma is not strong, and the sweetness is firm. However, it is not too sweet, so it can be used as a food sake. You will not get tired of drinking it.

It's just right for the Japanese food wine.
Tonight I made yudofu nabe with pork shabu-shabu! Oden and chikuzen-ni are also good for the coming season. Maybe hot sake would be good too. Thank you for your kindness!
Found this at Mitsuwa and had to buy it because of how much my husband loves Inari and her messengers. I shared this with Eddy, Grace, Andy, Carol, and Tom at our welcome back dinner after we got home from Japan.
It was balanced and nicely floral! I enjoyed it but don’t think I would buy it again unless it’s on a really great sale. $50 is a lot for a bottle and I’ve had sakes I’ve enjoyed more that are much cheaper.
