Found this at Mitsuwa and had to buy it because of how much my husband loves Inari and her messengers. I shared this with Eddy, Grace, Andy, Carol, and Tom at our welcome back dinner after we got home from Japan. It was balanced and nicely floral! I enjoyed it but don’t think I would buy it again unless it’s on a really great sale. $50 is a lot for a bottle and I’ve had sakes I’ve enjoyed more that are much cheaper.

Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Fukuro-tori Nama Storage Sake 100% Yamadanishiki Purchased at the basement of Namba Takashimaya Department Store. I was attracted by the strong brand name "Kirin" 😅. Reasonably priced brand called Kambara 😳 There are two types of sake rice, Yamadanishiki and Takananishiki. I was intrigued by the two types of rice, Yamada Nishiki and Takane Nishiki...tasted 😅. The Takananishiki had a little bit of a peculiarity in the middle of the taste buds. I was not used to drinking it, so I bought the Yamadanishiki 😋. Aroma is slightly good, weak pungency to slight sweetness. The spiciness of the base appears stronger and stronger, and then it cuts out 😊 It was a delicious sake with a good cost performance 😊. It was a great sake at a good price 😋 Thank you for the treat 😋.
