Purchased at a liquor store near my parents' house.
Last week I drank Omachi 50 and enjoyed it very much, so this time I chose Hiyoroshi Aizan 70% 50%.
The sweetness is a little subdued, but the umami is strong and there is some acidity, giving it a moderate sense of balance. The sweetness and umami of the rice remains for a while after drinking, so it is more like enjoying the aftertaste than the sharpness. It seems to be more suitable as an aperitif, but I personally prefer the Omachi 50, which has a stronger sweetness, as an aperitif. Today, I had it without an entrée.
The first Shichida.
Hiyayogoshi Yamadaho.
The waiter told me
"It's good at room temperature or warmed.
but I thought it was better to serve it at room temperature or warmed up,
I drank it cold first.
I drank it cold first.
I took a sip, and it seemed to me that the flavor had not opened up
I thought it was not open.
After all, it is better to raise the temperature range
It is better to raise the temperature range.
It has a classical taste,
I was able to enjoy the umami of the rice slowly.
Price: ¥1568 (720ml)
Another fruity Junmai Daiginjo!
This is another famous sake.
It is served in a wine glass here. The thin glass makes the cold sake taste good.
The snacks here are also delicious.
Even though it is a weekend in Asakusa, it is next to the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), but it is empty, so it is the best place for a corner bar in Asakusa.
Good evening! 😀
Today, I am here in Tokyo on a business trip.
It's a business trip to celebrate & ask for your help. 😁.
My wife is accompanying me, but I decided to have dinner alone because I have another matter to attend to.
I went to an izakaya near the hotel, thinking that there would be no place where I could have a quiet drink because there were so many foreigners.
The convenient thing about sake-no-wa is that you can see who is drinking and eating at what kind of restaurant, so I decided to go here where I found a picture of a sake drinking contest when I did a search.
Japanese food, sake, Enn.
Well, it is an izakaya with the feel of a chain restaurant.
I couldn't order much to eat and drink by myself, but I decided to have a sake comparison and drink slowly anyway.
As I wrote before, I would never be able to report on the food and drink if my wife was next to me. 😅
First up was Shichida Junmai.
This is a Saga sake that is a standard item at the Fukuroiya Brewery in Morioka.
Take a sip.
It has a slight sweetness.
As the robust flavor heads toward the back of the throat, acidity and bitterness follow.
We served it with tuna sashimi.
It was delicious.
Good evening, Mr. Kumagai. ‼️
Welcome 🤗
I'm glad you enjoyed your wonderful business trip drinking 🍶!
It's a great drinking experience! Enjoy 🝢.
Thanks to your wife 😁.
Good evening, Asanami! I'm so glad to see you here 😀
I had a hard time deciding on a place to eat, so I searched in Sakewa. 😅
It was great to compare drinks in small quantities! 👍
However, I would have preferred a quieter place to drink alone!
It suddenly got cold in the evening 😨 It also rained ☂️ and the day after tomorrow ☀️ seems to be a minimum temperature of 0 degrees Celsius 🥶 Here is what I chose for such a day 💁♂️
The aroma is slightly sweet with a hint of cemedine. In the mouth, there is a sourness at first, followed by a mild rice sweetness. The bitter taste gives it a refreshing aftertaste.
I immediately paired it with a spinach salad. The smooth texture of the tofu and crispy spinach, along with the sesame and miso flavors, brought out the sweetness of the sake, but also increased the bitterness.
If you like sweet and umami taste, you may not like this 😅.

Today I came to Sagagura, which I have longed to visit!
I'm going to try a brand I haven't had yet 🍴🙏🙏🙏.
This Shichida is fruity but with a lot of flavor. 👍
I prefer Yamadaho, another Saga sake, so I bought it because of the rice connection.
The aroma is faintly apple-like. At first banana, then melon-like sweetness, and finally some sourness and astringency with the umami of rice.
It is a well-balanced sake that goes well with meals.
Drinking at home. Purchased at a local liquor store. The aroma spreads gorgeously. Fruity, open, transparent and delicious. This is delicious. My wife has no complaints.
Nanada 1 day after opening the bottle.
The impression is not so different from the one right after opening the bottle. The sweetness and umami are very strong, and the acidity and bitterness are moderate, so you can enjoy it like a juice. It is sweet and gorgeous as it is 100% Omachi, and even after one day, it has not oxidized, so it is very tasty. I intended to drink it carefully, but I couldn't control myself and drank it all.

The liquor store we visited had many varieties of Nanada, but we chose the Omachi 50 for some reason.
It had a fruity aroma and a very strong sweetness, just like a junmai ginjo. However, it also had a strong umami and bitterness, giving it a strong overall flavor. It is more suitable as a light snack than as a mid-meal drink. We enjoyed it with a side of canned mackerel yukke (yukke).
