The sweetness and flavor of the rice comes out slowly, with a light meloniness. The body is medium.
The acidity finishes off the palate with a crisp, dry finish.
Kido Shiboritate Junmai Ginjo 2750yen
This week I went on a business trip to Wakayama 😀 As usual, we drank at HOTEL ‼️ and had fried tofu, spinach with sesame paste, and warm cabbage with ponzu sauce 😊.
Tonight's sake is here‼️The best Wakayama sake for the money👍I get many kinds of sake on every business trip, but this one is new to me 😆.
Now open the bottle‼️The aroma💜is a nice ginjo aroma‼️
The first attack is fresh muscat with a dark sweetness and a gentle finish. ‼️
Kido will not betray you in terms of taste and cosmetics 🤗.
Well balanced and refreshing~! It was crisp, refreshing, and extremely tasty!
Kido-san, which I had already had once, was delicious, but this was even better than that!
Kido's Gohyaku Mangoku is amazing!

Only a short review as we are all drinking
Well balanced.
An example of Junmai Ginjo, like a Wagen if it were a car.
Kido today. Muryozan Junmai Ginjo.
Kido Muryozan Junmai Ginjo won the "Champion Sake" award, the highest award in the SAKE category at the IWC (International Wine Challenge) 2020, where only one brand is selected.
In short, it became the best sake in the world in 2020🥇.
I drank it in 2025 (2024 vintage), so it is not 2020 itself, but it is definitely delicious.
I thought it was mellow, harmonious, and very complete sake.
Delicious 👏✨
White grapes, green apple, slightly yogurt-like lactic acidity
Juicy sweetness at first with fine bubbles → Light acidity to tighten up the taste.
Thanks to the cloudy part, it is round and creamy but not heavy.
The alcohol content is low, and the aftertaste is refreshing and rummy.
It is smooth on the palate, not too tangy, but fresh, with a pleasant ginjo aroma and umami that spreads and lingers, and is delicious and a great value.
