This is the first Kido I have seen in a long time that caught my eye on a business trip. Last year, I paid my hometown tax on it.
Attracted by the name "Shiboritate Nama Shuzake" and the reasonable price, I immediately took some home with me.
When you put it in your mouth, you feel a slight gassy sensation on the tip of your tongue. Immediately, a strong sweetness spreads softly in the center of the tongue. As you swallow, you feel a sour taste in your mouth and a fruity aroma escaping through your nose. The bitterness lingers on the back of the tongue, but is nicely counteracted by the "smoked samadai" entrées such as iburi gakko (pickled ginger) and smoked cheese. It is a delicious sake with good cost performance.
This is my first Kido. The color is clear and colorless, with no gassiness. The nose has a hint of lychee. Sweet and sour with a nice sharpness. It is delicious and very cost-effective! A friend of the common people.
Kido, where everything is delicious.
When Omachi came in stock, I bought it immediately!
Aroma like blue banana.
The mild spiciness spreads.
It is easy to drink, with a soft acidity.
The rice flavor is robust for a Kido.
As one would expect from Omachi, it has the character of Omachi.
But it also has the freshness of Kido.
The price of all brands are rising these days, but I hope Kido will continue to be a good-cost sake.
Pairing: Oden, persimmon broccoli, camembert cheese salad
