My boss, who went to Miyagi Prefecture for a visit, brought me a souvenir that was, by no means, sake. I am happy to drink a little sake for the first time.
I was very impressed with the local sake brewery, which I had never drunk before.
It is a daiginjo, but with 40% polished rice. The store staff said it was sweet, but when I drank it, I found it to be quite spicy. The sweetness comes later, but it is moderate. The rice polishing ratio is good, so it is easy to drink even though it is spicy. It seems to be good to drink with food, so we drank one with octopus zangi, which we prepared as a snack. Uma~!
