Summer is the time for this sake!
I used to go all the way to Fukui every year to buy this sake, but I am very happy to know that it is now available at a local department store!

Junmai-shu I bought as a souvenir from Fukui. I bought heshiko and dried firefly squid and thought it would be a good idea to buy a dry Junmai-shu for this flavor! I bought it.
As expected, it was dry with a lot of gusto! It tastes great cold, but it also tastes even better when heated up, as if it were a sake that can be heated up.
It was the perfect local sake to go with Fukui's snacks!
I brought this to the sake club meeting the other day.
I thought that most of you would prefer brownish-black for the sake and bottles with a strong presence, so I changed the angle and chose this one, which was a fresh jacket and would be crisp and clear.
It was a winner for me.
I'd like to keep Ippongi as a resident.
Hello, Junjun ☀☀☀.
I've been wondering since your last check-in, thank you for choosing to bring your local Fukui sake to the party 🙇.
The freshness stands out amongst the other distinguished lineup 🥰.
Thank you for your continued interest in our site, Jive. Thank you for your comment.
I've only been to Fukui twice, and both times were when I couldn't drink sake, so I'd enjoy it even more now. No doubt 🍶.
Please let me know more about it 🙏.
I went to the Fukui Prefecture Antenna Shop in Ginza, Tokyo, to look for a topic for a sake party organized by the SNS Sake Club. After preparing my story, I bought a cup of sake for drinking at home for the first time in my life.
I chilled it and drank it after dinner. It was dry and easy to drink, and it went down my throat quickly.
There are other sakes at the store, so I will have to go back to check them out.
I bought this sake at a roadside station when I went for a one-day drive to Fukui Prefecture in the middle of a very crowded GW 😄🍶🍶🍶.
The aroma is not so strong. The mouthfeel is a bit acidic, but you soon get a light bitterness that quickly fades away ✨.
It is refreshing and easy to drink 🍶.
I wanted to use the pickled sea bream that I bought with it as a snack, but it was already served first, so I enjoyed the sapa with ginger 😄🍶.
But I think they go well together ✨🍶😄🍶.
Souvenir of my trip to Fukui (4)
Purchased at Ippongi Kuboten during my trip to Fukui 🍶.
Since I welcomed the summer sake, I opened the remaining spring sake 😀.
It's dry, but unlike the easy-to-drink, the alcohol content is 18%, so it's very drinkable 😀.
