At Kairakuen Garden.
Mito Kairakuen Garden, which has become a regular place for birthday celebrations.
The first flower to tell us of the coming of spring.
Their strong and dignified beauty and harmony with the branches and trees.
They are magnificent every year!
First of all, there is a dish that also uses Kairakuen's plums!
Gentle sweetness like Wasanbon and gorgeous sourness.
It was only a little, but it was good to be able to feel the ume with all five senses.
Mito Komon's group was there, so I snapped a few pictures with them! Now, which one is Tadasu?
Good evening, Nanoha-san. The plum blossoms in Kairakuen are magnificent. It is a place I would like to visit at least once in my life. It is very chic to enjoy plum wine made from Kairakuen's plums while admiring them 😊I have an image of Tadasu-san on the right. It's been a long time since I've seen Mito Komon 😆.
Good evening, Hirupeko-san. The day before, we had 2cm of snow in Mito, so I was worried, but the ume trees were healthy 🌸 They have a different flavor from cherry blossoms, so please visit them.
Kotori-san, 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 ᰔᩚᥫᩣ Higu-san's birthday is around the time the plum trees are in bloom, so before I knew it, it became a tradition. It has become a regular event before I knew it. The main thing is to drink at night... ˊInro is Tadasu-san and the sword is Sukesan!
KOEDO SAKE COLLECTION 2024
The first event organized by Matsuzaki Sake Shop in a long time!
48 breweries from all over Japan gathered for the first and second parts of the event, which was a great success.
#17 Ippin, a brand I met for the first time.
We were told to pair it with anglerfish hot pot.
Soft sake
Anglerfish hot pot, very rare to find 😄.
Ume Festival is held in Mito!
You can enjoy early-blooming plum blossoms at Kairakuen.
Buy a freshly squeezed bottle of one of the products at a store and enjoy a cup of ume-viewing sake in one hand!
Fresh sweetness and refreshing acidity, as is typical of nama sake.
It has a full-bodied flavor and is honestly delicious!
It's perfect for sipping while viewing the plum blossoms.
But be careful, the alcohol content is 20 degrees.
When all the ume blossoms start to look like double flowers, it's time to stop!
Good evening, bap 🦉.
The plum blossoms are beautiful 🌸and you can see them while drinking 😳 isn't it great👍They look like double flowers 🤭, which is also a good deal 🤭.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
This is a wonderful event where you can enjoy the coming of spring with sake ♫ I want to go to this event as the plum blossoms will be at their best from now on!
Gutsy!
The alcohol content is 20
As you would expect from a pure sake
Suitable for drinking while savoring
It is suitable for drinking while tasting a little at a time.
A must-have sake for New Year's Day, loved by Ippin fans!
Ippin Hatsushibori Activated Nigori Sake!
This is my favorite brand of cosy sake from Ibaraki.
It is a reasonably priced (1100 yen, 720 ml) bottle of active nigori sake with a rich, piquant feel, a creamy taste with a moderate sweetness, and a lot of moromi to give it a festive, New Year's-like atmosphere!
I love you if you don't drink this!
Slightly grayish and clear, it has aromas of pear, Kamishinko, green bamboo, and honeysuckle. The attack is rather weak, with a gentle acidity and a rich sweetness, with a rather long finish.
Local famous sake, one of a kind ❗️
I found it at Yamaya and bought it immediately.
I am a genuine nigori lover ❤️
I also keep Hirotogawa, so I have a four-pack of it.
Takamiyama is 2x, but this is 5x ‼️
This is soooo good 😳
Is it as good as Hirotogawa?
I want everyone to try it 🙏!
If it's sake, it's one 🎵If it's sake, it's one 🎵
Sake from Ibaraki after a long time
The previous sake I had was a Tochigi sake made from Omachi, so I decided to have another Omachi sake!
I heard from the liquor store that it tastes good warmed up a little, so I tried it cold and lukewarm 🍶.
It is true that the sake is delicious when drunk cold, with its ginjo aroma and dry taste, but when drunk warm, you can feel the flavor of the rice spreading on your palate.
We enjoyed it with Satsuma-age (fried fish cake) as a side dish.
