The mouthfeel is fruity, with a hint of acidity, just like a peach. The finish is dry and crisp. I like this one. I like it. I want to use it lavishly for simmered dishes.

▪️Kanu...Echigo Sake Brewery Junmai 60% polished rice al15-16 Omotesando Shokurakuen Buy for home I've been drinking this sake before April 2017 when I started using the app to record the label image and the date I drank it, so for a while I've been uniformly using 2017/04/01 as the date I drank it.

Niigata Prefecture Rating ☆☆☆☆ This sake has a fermented taste that hits the nose, but there is no unpleasant alcohol smell. It is a junmai sake with a well rounded taste. Full aromas of rice, fresh cheese like mozzarella our cream cheese, milk, sour cream. Lots of dairy and a certain acidic note. Some faint nuttiness accents the nose. Sweet and sour palate. Cream and yoghurt, some fresh nuts and cheese. Starts off quite thick, but has more of a dry finish and feel to the end. Interesting and not what I expected from a Niigata junmai, but it's decent. 3.25, but could be alright warm.
