There were only 31 check-ins ever.
The aroma is gusty and alcoholic. It has a refreshing green apple flavor from the acidity, which is just right for me personally. It is refreshing and sweet.
Greysinger19, good evening!
I'm glad to hear that you can buy Ikegumo in Kyushu. I'm glad to hear that Ikegumo is available in Kyushu. I'm personally paying attention to this brewery because they are actively trying to make white rice malt and Yamahai.
Thank you for your comment, bouken. I bought it because the label of the store where I bought it said that it was only available in Kyushu. It was delicious. I think I will have to go back to the same store to buy it again...
Tonight, I'm having a bottle of #Ikegumo Junmai Genshu from Ikeda Shuzo in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, with canned mackerel.
They use 100% pesticide-free Omachi rice from the Mizuma area of Maizuru City.
The aroma of the rice is sweet and full of flavor. It's an unpasteurized sake, but the flavor is pleasant and not overpowering.
It tastes great when warmed up, with a freshly cooked rice flavor. I'm sure it will go well with any dish. A wonderful encounter 😊.
Woody aroma at the first sip. The dry sake taste comes immediately. It has a rich flavor, but it doesn't linger that long. I want to drink it with oden and simmered dishes.
It's a sakuiso type that I personally don't like much, but it's not disgusting because it's well balanced, and it smells fruity, similar to a real banana!
The taste is not so banana-like either, it's fruity and sweet like between banana and melon.
A little alcoholic at the end, but it's easy to drink with a crisp aftertaste
Delicious!
