New Sake Comparison Set (1000 yen)
We started with Sachihime's DEAR MY PRINSESEE draft sake.
It has a fresh aroma typical of nama-shu and a mild ginjo aroma.

Unlike the Junmai Ginjo of Kouhime we drank at the Hamayuku Kitchen

The sweet aroma of correct junmai sake
The taste is not too sweet, but you can feel the sweetness of the rice.
This is good, but is it because it is raw sake?
I bought these when I went back to my parents' house in Saga! I carefully selected 4 bottles after consulting with the staff of the shop. It's about a 5-minute walk from Saga Station. It is a 5-minute walk from Saga station and the shop has a good selection of Saga sake and the staff loves sake. 😄.
The first one is Yukihime which the shopkeeper recommended. I will report the other 3 bottles later❗️.
It starts with a ginjo aroma, and when you drink it, you feel a soft sweetness like a pear, but then the bitterness passes over your tongue. It is more refreshing than I expected, and the balance of sweetness and bitterness is good. However, I personally feel that it becomes a little sweet when I keep drinking it.
This time, I paired it with squid siumai. The smooth texture of the squid siumai and the sweetness and umami of the sake mix gently to create a good harmony. That's Saga for you!
