Sake and Sake vol.2 at Koryu Plaza🤗
For the event's unique 🍶...
Nanoha-san and Higu-san were enjoying themselves first, and I joined later. It had been a long time since the summer prefectural party and I was so happy to see them again 🍶.
The sake is made from 100% Kyoto's original sake rice "Celebration" grown by a contract farmer.
It was golden in color and soft in the mouth, with a slight chilliness, a hint of pear and apricot flavors, a light matured taste, and a rich aroma, sweetness and acidity that only the sake brewing process can produce.
Alcohol content/15%.
Rice polishing ratio / 75
Hello, Kotori 😃!
Oh! I see you went too 🤗
We were both talking about whether Kotori-san would go 🤔😄It's kind of nice to see the exchange between members of the Prefectural Association 😊.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😊I think there will be more stalls than the first Sake and Sake first time. We had a lot of fun talking about sakewa, even though we didn't listen to the guests' talks or music 🤣I hope we can get together with everyone again!
Good evening, Kotori-san. Thank you very much for coming yesterday in the cold weather.
Before the "sake to sake" meeting, I mistook the time and drank too much 🍶 at Sushikatei. See you again at the Kenmin-kai.
Hi Higu, Good evening 😊It was a pleasure to talk with you both after a long time. I'm glad to have had a chance to talk with you both.
I enjoyed the second day too 🍶.
Good evening, Kotori.
I see you went to the sake and liquor event ❣️
I met Nanoha-san and Higu-san and we had a great time talking and drinking 😊.
Kotori-san, I'm jealous of your second day too 🥳〰︎😆
Good evening, Tsubu-chan😊It was nice that the event was not too crowded. 👍🏻 There was also a national news crew there! I was so happy to meet Nanoha and Higi that I was so excited to talk with them that I was floating around the venue🤣.
Shotoku Shuzo
Shotoku Junmai Kyo no Shine - Unfiltered Nama Sake
This brewery is located in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto.
It is one of the few breweries in Japan with a female master brewer.
This is a new sake brewed with new sake rice "Kyo-no-Kiki" produced in Kyoto.
Fresh, fruity aroma and rich flavor.
#Nihon-shu
Outside drinking🎶.
Sennyuji Kiln Autumn Leaves Festival🍁.
The third bottle is Hanaraku dry sake.
The third picture is the sake cup I chose 😁 I don't have a sake cup type 😁.
Alcohol 18 degrees! You can tell it has a high alcohol content 🌀 Good thing I drank it last 😁.
Good morning, Hirupeko 😊.
I went there a few years ago but the number of kilns is decreasing. I think it's a good place to go to buy ceramics, not for sake 😁 except for the outlets, they are an order of magnitude more expensive 😭.
Hi Ao!
You bought a nice cup of sake ✨If you look at it at the china market, doesn't it make your eyes more discerning? I'm surprised to see them in my cupboard at home. I'm surprised at how good they are 🤣 of course they are inexpensive 😁.
Good evening, Ponchan😁.
One of the teacups came with the package, but I bought two others 😁 From today on, I want to use the teacups more than I want to drink 🤣.
I'll put them in the cupboard and look at them 😁.
The direct sales shop at Shotoku's sake brewery is only open on weekdays, so despite being in the neighborhood, I had not been able to go there.
I finally went there and bought a bottle of hiyaoroshi (freshly brewed sake), which had just come on sale.
The flavor spread rapidly as I rolled it around in my mouth, and it was a lot of fun.
It is delicious.
Kyoto every day
Today, I met again with the branch manager of a distributor who was a great help to me when I was working as a manager in Kyoto 16 years ago.
The power of SNS is amazing!
I made a reservation for a restaurant I wanted to visit and let him know.
To my surprise, the owner of the restaurant and the branch manager's son are best friends from the same high school club!
What a coincidence!
This restaurant serves duck dishes and sake from all 45 of Kyoto's sake breweries!
Tonight, the sake selection is left to the owner!
To start things off, he brought some kind of silver tank!
Hiyoroshi, which just arrived last Friday!
He poured it into our glasses with a swoosh!
At first it was cloudy, but after a while it turned into clear sake!
Fresh sake, so good!
It's a little spicy, but we enjoy it with the appetizers!
We reminisce about the good old days!
extensive knowledge
The new sake, which was young and rough when it was pressed, underwent a fire-quenching process just once and is now ready to drink after a period of maturation. After one summer in the bottle, the flavor components in the sake are brought out, resulting in a harmonious and mellow taste. This Junmai Ginjo Hi-ire Genshu has a slightly dry, full, and elegant flavor.
Alcohol content: 17%.
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Second bottle of Japanease sake subscription at my parents' house.
The sake rice is "Celebration" which I have never heard of.
This one also has a clean, daiginjo-style mouthfeel, but the aftertaste is gentle and clean. It also has a gentle aroma of rice!
I prefer this one. I like this one better. It seems to go well with everything, even as a food sake.
Thanks to my parents for the food this month 🙏😆.
Good morning, Tsutsumitate-san!
Two bottles of Junmai Daiginjo! That's amazing ✨and from your family home😊😊I'm so jealous!
Celebration is a sake rice produced in Kyoto and is often used for sake in Kyoto 😁, although it is a bit expensive
