7/10
PB sake I once drank at a restaurant called Sakenoshizuku in Kyoto.
It is a thick, sweet sake with a soft floral aroma.
It's a kind of intoxicating sake, and if you drink it in the right mood, you'll say I'm drunk.
Be careful!
Fresh fruity and delicious. I really like its rich flavor.
Purchased by weight at Fushimi Sake Brewery. Tasted a variety of sake. It's hard to decide. I liked all of them, so I think I will buy them one by one. You can choose your own bottle with a cute label on it.
At an event held every year around October at Keihan City Mall in Tenmabashi Station, where sake breweries in Fushimi, Kyoto gather
Sake brought by the brewer
Contrary to (?) appearances.
Spicier than expected!
Spicy? Did I eat something spicy?
It's still a little spicy...!
Not too fruity either!
Not too spicy like sake, beautiful but spicy!
[It's time to shift to Kyoto sake at Gion Kitazato.
Here is what I ordered 🍶.
Shotoku Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake
The aroma of the sake has a full-bodied aroma of rice with a hint of alcohol behind it, and the mouthfeel has a firm sweetness with a hint of astringency behind it.
The entrée is assorted sashimi (😋).
I bought a bottle of "Shotoku Winter Sake Activated Nigori" which was released today and is only available in winter.
Similar to Kita-Akita, this nigori sake has a shriveled appearance due to the fermentation (activation) of the yeast in the bottle.
Be careful when opening the bottle, as it will overflow.
It is quite dry, and has a full flavor that goes into the nose, which is characteristic of nigori sake.
Just one glass will make your throat hot.
Personally, I prefer to drink it slowly and savor it, rather than to drink it in a gung-ho manner.
