Gently sweet and fruity. It is refreshing and very tasty.
Today, I participated in the Kintetsu Hiking [Sake Brewery Tour]. The goal was Saito Sake Brewery of Eikun, my favorite sake brewery. I was so happy that I even bought a ballpoint pen.
I was told that this sake celebrates 2/22 "Cat's Day". Moreover, this sake was sold in a limited edition of 222 bottles.
Sold exclusively at Isetan Kyoto
Gorgeous aroma
Soft sweetness and pungency on the palate, but they quickly disappear and leave a watery aftertaste. The aftertaste has a grain aroma and pungency.
Alcohol level 16%.
Sake level: Slightly high
Acidity: Low
Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The aroma is faintly sweet with a slight sour note. When you drink it, a distinctive sweetness that is similar to that of sake from western Japan runs through your mouth. Yet, there is no unpleasant aftertaste, so it is a sake that can be drunk without hesitation.
