It is a local sake from Kanagawa Prefecture. 新舘幸樹This is a sake that I received.
I had known this brand for a while, but I had passed it by because I had an image of Kanagawa sake being hard and difficult to drink.
First, the color. It is slightly yellow.
When I took a sip, I was right.
It was a bit rough and pungent in the mouth.
The taste is dry, but the bitterness is strong, followed by astringency. Of course there is a pungent taste, but I do not like this astringent taste.
However, when I rolled a small amount in my mouth, the astringency softened and it became easier to drink.
This is a new discovery. (I usually drink it cuiquey).
But I don't think I will repeat it. Tokiko TakahashiAroma: Pear, muscatel, white peach, white flower, even when chilled. Taste: Mild on the palate, goes in easily, well-balanced without strong acidity, sweetness, or bitterness, soft sweetness like cotton candy goes into the nose, clean aftertaste.
