KATSUKOMA Junmai-shu Shiboritate Nama 720ml
Rice polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol content 16%.
Junmai Namae was successfully obtained again this year! So we will open the bottle 2024.2.
Like Hiragana Katsuma, it is shipped once a year. If you have a distributor near you, I recommend patrolling there.
Now to open the bottle... Hmmm? It was too hard to open!
After wrapping a rubber band around it, it finally opened!
It is round, slightly sweet, and delicious.
1100 check in with local sake 😊.
Good evening, @Mizuhashi!
Congratulations on 1100 check-ins 🎉.
That's great ⤴️
Local Katsuma is a great way to celebrate such a milestone ✨.
It really is a delicious sake 😋.
I look forward to more fun sake activity posts from you 😊.
@Mizuhashi, congrats on the 1100 check-in. ㊗️🎊You always have a Katsuma in your fridge 😳 Will it taste better if you let it rest? I wish I could have that luxury💕.
@Mizuhashi, good evening 🌃😀🎊Congratulations on your 1100th check-in!
Congratulations on your 1100 check-in 🎊🎉🎊Your local Kachikoma is a good one 😘👍It's a wonder you can hold out for a year 😊I'll keep checking your posts on my own 😀
Congratulations @Mizuhashi on your 1100 check-in: ㊗️
Kiri number with local brews, that's intoxicating ☺️
I know what you mean about saving your previous favorites until you get the next one!
I can drink Katsikoma Junmai Nama without worrying about it, it's unbearable 😊.
Good evening, @Mizuhashi😄
Congratulations on your 1100 check-in ㊗️🎊🎉 That's great 😆 The commemorative drink was another surprise. Masterful work to lay it down for a year and then lay it down again for another year this year 😍I guess it really is your favorite 🤩.
Thank you very much, ma-ki-😊.
I've been doing sakénowa for almost 4 years now😄.
Katsuma used to sell me up to two bottles when I went to the brewery 😢.
Now more and more places have a points system😃.
Thank you very much, Hirupeko 😊.
I think it is suitable for aging as it has a relatively firm body 👌
I'm still aging some of them.
I just can't open the high spec ones because I'm too timid to open them 💦 and as a result, I'm aging them 😅.
Thank you Maecin 😊.
I used to stand in line at the Yamato Takaoka store on the day Katsuma went on sale, but the first group was obviously resellers 💢.
Now it seems that each liquor store is taking measures to prevent resale 😉.
Thank you Aladdin 😊.
I am anxious every year until the annual liquor is available. This year, the "hanpukai" (a Japanese sake distributor) was full up soon and I was like, what am I going to do? I was wondering what to do with the sake that was available this year.
Every winter is a battle 😆.
Thank you very much, HinaHaMama 😊.
I was wondering if we could compare the two bottles since we had them lined up. I was wondering if we could compare the two bottles since we had them lined up, but since there was only one bottle per person, I decided to hold off 😣.
Hiragana Katsuma is also delicious while aging 😋.
@Mizuhashi, I'm with you 😃.
Congratulations on your thousand hundred posts ㊗️🎉!
It's valuable because you can only build a few 🥹I don't have a special store in my neighborhood 🥲I hope to meet you on my travels👍.
Thank you Jay & Nobby 😊.
Meeting on the road? Ah, a liquor store in Nagano Prefecture 😄.
I'm pretty sure I can get it there 😁.
Maybe I'll drop by next month 😀.
@Mizuhashi, belated congratulations on your 1100 check-in 🎉🎊!
It's great that you get it every year 👍✨I really didn't see it even if there was a special store 😂Look forward to more reviews 😊.
Congratulations @Mizuhashi on your 1100CI 🎉🍾㊗️ you are on a fast pace 😊.
Quintessential local Kachikoma❗️ hiragana Kachikoma, but I caught a cold so I'll open the bottle when I'm healed and in good shape😅
Thank you, Harry 😊.
Please take your time with the Hiragana Katsuma. We still have two bottles of it aging 😁.
These two bottles of Katsikoma are the last of the season 😆.
We will try again next year 🫡.
Congratulations @Mizuhashi on your 1100 check-in ㊗️🎉🎊Congratulations on your local sake, and on Katsikoma's raw sake✨Nice 😆👍Katsikoma, we usually drink it before the Arimakinen at the end of the year 🤭.
I wonder if Dora got it 🤔
It's been a long time since I've been to Kachikoma✨.
Last time I drank it, I drank it snow cold 😆.
So this time I decided to drink it heated ✨
After ordering... looking at the label... this sake is 50% polished rice 😳 Junmai Daiginjo specs ✨.
I couldn't help but ask for it to be heated to human skin 😅.
I'm glad I got it in time...so let's drink it 😆.
Mellow, good umami, then a gentle sweetness, then a sourness that makes it dry and sharp 😳.
It was a delicious sake to be heated up 😆.
Commentary.
Seito Sake Brewery, which brews Katsikoma, a "sake that knows true luxury" brewed by a small handmade sake brewery in Toyama, was founded in 1906.
It began when Keisuke Seito I, a member of the cavalry during the Russo-Japanese War, returned to Japan and opened a sake brewery, which he named "Katsikoma" to commemorate his victory.
The warehouse building still retains its old-fashioned sake brewery style, and was registered as a national tangible cultural material in 2000.
The brewery is a small brewery with a total production of about 300goku, and has been brewing sake under the motto of "no more falsehoods" (no more falsehoods) in the brewery since its establishment, with a "small brewery style, no more items, and no half-hearted new products".
Characterized by its gentle rice aroma, light taste, and well-balanced flavor, it is a sake that goes well with everyday home cooking, an authentic sake rooted in daily life.
The logo on the label was created by the artist Masuo Ikeda.
It is delicious.
