Smells a little on the old side. There's cream and dairy, some nuttiness, some pickled vegetables and umami, overripe apples on the nose, with some rice and cereal in there for certain as well.
There's still a slight hint of that old taste on the palate, but very different from the nose. Full, nutty, juicy. Plums, sweet like raisins, dried mango, banana bread. Lots of deep, rich, sweet flavours.
Finish is short and a little sticky.
Started off poorly, got pretty good. 3.5/5

I first encountered this sake after walking around Kamakura and having sashimi and local fish sushi at a restaurant I had reserved. It was a light and dry sake with a refreshing taste.

Purchased at a special store in a major department store.
It has no peculiarities and is easy to drink.
When I tasted it, I thought it had a little more flavor and aroma.

Today's sake is from the Sasaki Sake Brewery in Kyoto, which we helped with crowdfunding. We had a bottle of "Fukumidori," a sake made by the Sasaki Sake Brewery in Kyoto. I was impressed that even the name is written on the label.
As is typical of Kyoto sake, it is refreshingly light and easy to drink. The flavor is also very strong, and the aftertaste is clean, but still comes down to the throat. It is made from 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Kyoto, so the Yamadanishiki character comes out well. I hope they continue to produce such good sake rice in the future. This sake brewery is famous for being owned by the family of Kuranosuke Sasaki. I have not had many sake from Kyoto, so I would like to try more in the future.

It has a delicious flavor and a daiginjo-like character 👏.
It sounds strange, but it fits right in the mouth.
That said, I don't think it is light or thin.
It goes well with meals and is easy to pair with a variety of dishes...
It's a good drink to go out with😊.
On this day, I served it with red sea cucumber ponzu and bonito tataki!
