Shichiriki by Morita Shobei, the brewer of Sakuta and Komaizumi.
Only seven liquor stores in Aomori Prefecture carry this sake.
The aroma on the nose is fruity and sweet.
In the mouth, there is a mild sweetness and umami from the rice that is refreshing.
The slight acidity finishes it off nicely.
It is fire-aged but still fresh and delicious 😊.
Morita Shobei makes beautiful sake.
I hope they keep up the good work even though they are not so popular.
