Sweet and mellow
In the mouth, there is a sense of intoxication typical of sake.
I have been wondering what this feeling is for some time.
Is it the taste of rice since it is junmai ginjo?
I think it would probably go well with winter stews.
This year is the year of the bad luck, so I went to an exorcism! I went to a local shrine to have an exorcism and got some sake (^o^)The sake was a local Zao Honjozo! The aroma is mild, with hints of green bamboo and rice. When you drink it, the sweetness is moderate, the acidity and bitterness are moderate, and the aftertaste is refreshing. Perfect as a food sake. It was the best sake.
Good evening, Mr. Sashu😃.
I see you are in a bad year 🥲 but you have been exorcised and also the best food wine is sake🍶😋 so you have nothing to fear now 🤗 let's drink and exorcise in Utsunomiya too 😁.
Jay & Nobby Good evening.(^o^) Yes, that's right. I have a bad year this year (I cry). I was exorcised and the sacred wine was Zao! It was great. Please let me drink and be purified in Utsunomiya too 😄.
Autumn wine that was sitting in the fridge 🍶.
Miyagi Miyamanishiki 55% polished rice.
Low storage.
Very mellow and crisp, good to wake you up ~ ❤️
This sake has a feminine and gentle atmosphere without being harsh at all. Best warmed up 👍.
It's been a while since I uploaded this.
I lost my way with a zodiac bottle of Tasake at a local liquor store.
As a result, I bought a bottle of Zao, a local sake.
The accompaniment was salted squid with sake lees of Zao Daiginjo.
Of course they go well together!
I couldn't wait to drink it. It was fresh and had a good amount of gas!
This is how I'm going to end the year.
Happy New Year, everyone!
Drinking outside. No photos, but I went out a lot, so here are my impressions.
The aroma is clean and rummy.
When you drink it, it is also refreshing, with a sweetness like that of rummunee or calpis, and then it gradually lifts up with an herbal feeling. There is a slight nigor.
It has a general sweet and tasty fresh modern taste, rather than the umami and sharpness that is typical of Zao.
It has enough characteristics as a refreshing sake, and the perfection level is very high, but it is a brewery that specializes in fire-aged sake.
The new Kurao is made with Miyagi Prefecture's new sake rice, "Gin-no-Iroha".
My previous image was mellow, the sake, but this one is fresh and crisp from the nose ✨.
It's a summer sake 😋.
Is the soft, full flavor due to the Gin no Iroha?
I drank it chilled because of the appearance of the bottle, but after I finished it, I started to wonder about heating it up, which was a bit disappointing.
But it was exquisitely delicious, with a complex bitterness that doesn't end at juiciness, which is unique to light nigori 💕.
