Easy to drink 😋. chapeOn the way back from my parents' house, my daughter and I went to Ikeda Sake Shop for the first time. My daughter's choice was the "I love sushi" guy and the blue Takachiyo. The sushi one has a cute label though💦.
The spring sake has disappeared and the summer sake is on its way! The blue bottle is so cool and summery 😁.
It is a flat polished unadjusted summer raw sake with 48% milled rice and 16% alcohol by volume. The aroma is cool and refreshing, or maybe it's the color that makes it smell like cider 🤔I personally don't like the aroma, so it's a little hard to drink... but the wife says it's delicious. After a few days the aroma settled down and I could taste the sweetness followed by sourness and bitterness and I also enjoyed it😊It's interesting how it tastes different as time goes by after opening the bottle😆That was delicious! I saw Hiedano's post a while ago and thought "I have to drink it😤" so I picked it up and bought it.
Oh, it soaks in😌.
I don't feel the sourness, so the sweetness wins, but it's just right.
I've never had a problem with that.
Easy to drink and I want to keep drinking it.
It's a little different from the Hououmida I drank before, so I'd like to try another kind.

A good flow from Kamogane brought me to Senkou!
When I saw that everyone had mentioned it, I wanted to get my hands on a bottle, but the liquor stores in my neighborhood didn't have it, so I took a detour from my parents' house and found only one bottle at the regular Ikeda Sake Store! It was the last bottle, so I couldn't help but say "thank goodness" and the shopkeeper laughed at me😅.
It's juicy and has a nice acidity.
I knew Senkou was good!
It's light and refreshing.
So, it's gone again soon 😢.

After much deliberation, we chose this one and opened it on the night of New Year's Day😊.
But⁉️, when we drank it for the first time in a long time, we found ourselves saying, "Oh, this is so good! We drank it all 😱.
Our missionary work ended in vain, but our love for sake has deepened 😋.
