When served cold, the attack is a bit harsh, but when it's warmed up to 50°C, the mellow flavor opens up and it's easy to drink. It's a sake that really shows its value when heated.
The wine is not fresh, perhaps because it has been opened too long. It has a mild sweetness like apple juice, and the acidity in the aftertaste tightens it up.
