I was wondering where to use the rest of my ticket. Then I was asked to go to Takefujima.
A sake brewery revitalization company established by a Gekkeikan alumnus has acquired the brewery and is now making sake under a new structure.
I drank the sake before the takeover twice in the past, but the last time I drank it, the off-flavor was so bad that I hadn't had it since then😅.
This is a single heat-refining hiyaoroshi.
It has a rounded taste with a good sense of maturity and a nice roundedness. Personally, I felt it was a little spicy.
It seems to have joined the Meimon Sake Association and is listed in the winter Shiboritate Nama Sake section, so I will try to get a bottle.
After this, we decided to leave the venue and drink some more.
