Purchased for home drinking. Fresh aroma and gorgeous. The aftertaste is crisp and dry. Rich taste with a crisp dry aftertaste. Will be a repeat purchase.
personal memorandum
Tasty, aromatic, fruity, and very satisfying.
The price was about 1,600 yen for 720ml at a souvenir shop in front of Hagi Castle, but for some reason it was discounted by 550 yen, which is an exceptional price.
We also bought some Hagiyaki sake cups and enjoyed Yamaguchi.
Since we did not compare it with regular Toyo Bijin, we could not tell the difference between regular Toyo Bijin and Jihonbeni.
Haze sake. Slightly cloudy. Fruity and juicy. It has sweetness and a fizzy acidity, but the aftertaste is refreshing. A four-pack of this sake costs less than 1,000 yen, making it the most cost-effective sake available.
