Since it was Friday, I stopped by to buy something to take home and found that Hana-no-Rusu was having a sake tasting, a popular sake at the sake brewery opening 😊.
Hana no Dew: Shiboritate Junmai Daiginjyo Nama Genjyu
A blue bottle of freshly pressed Junmai Daiginjo-nama sake, which seems to sell out every year at the Jojima Sake Biraki. It has a gorgeous aroma, a delicious rice flavor, and a clean throat.
Hana no Dew Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate Nama Sake
Local Yamada-Nishiki produced in Jojima is polished to 55%, giving this sake an elegant aroma and an easy-to-drink taste.
Hana-no-Dew Nama-no-Nama-Shu
Freshly squeezed and easy to drink.
The 15% alcohol content was too much for my tired body.
This first tasting was an ume (plum) sake made with a junmai (pure rice) sake base and apple juice added. I could drink this one today.
I don't know if I can put it here 💦 extra notes.
Day 3: Even more drinkable and tasty with carbonated water 😊.
Paired with mackerel mentaiko and freshly made mentaiko that I bought at a mentaiko factory event.
Alcohol content: 8 or more but less than 9 degrees
720㎖ ¥1,540
This is a representative brand of a sake brewery founded in 1745 in Jojima, Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
I bought it because of the description and the design of the label, which I noticed was "gone" ("no-naru" in Hakata dialect). It is a private brand sold exclusively through liquor stores.
Mild aroma, sharp 🧐.
Not my favorite on day 1💦.
A little easier to drink on day 3.

This was my first time to try Hana-no-Rusu's sake, and I tasted two kinds at the brewery.
The one we purchased was a limited-edition, unblended sake from the brewery.
Both of them had the same sourness from the front, and from the aroma to the lingering taste, I couldn't get rid of it and thought it was stinky.
I guess there are different tastes, but for me it was not a delicious sake.
We had a corner shop Irohani Masu at Sumiyoshi Shuppan with 4 different kinds of drinks.
Hana no Dew Special Junmai
In my opinion, this one was the best.
Fruity and sharp, I like it. ❗️
A relative obtained this limited-edition product at a brewery opening.
It was bottled on the spot.
It has a strong fruity flavor due to the fact that it is a draft sake.
It is so easy to drink that it is hard to believe that it is 19%.
It's dangerous because it's so easy to drink.
Purchased at Hakata Station.
A limited edition sake from Sumiyoshi Sake Shop.
It is not spectacular, but has a clean sweetness that goes well with any dish.
I had it cold.
It would also be delicious lukewarm.
Opened 2/25.
Slightly whitish in color.
Young bananas➡︎ young strawberries➡︎ apricot pudding with melon.
The flavor of rice comes in afterwards.
When the temperature rises, it becomes even more pronounced.
Goes well with scallops grilled in butter with a sprinkle of salt 😋.
2/26
The caramelized flavor is less bitter now 🍶.
Surprisingly, it went well with macaroni salad 👍
It goes well with a meal.
As the name suggests, it's the kind that you drink up and before you know it, it's gone 😊.
Mr. Sieg Jikon
Good evening 🌆.
Fukuoka is a hidden sake place 😊.
No Naru is a sake that goes well with food and you won't get tired of drinking it 😊.
If you have a chance, please do 🍶.
