Gikyo ORIGARUMI Junmai Nama-zake
November 16, 2024
Kagataya Sake Shop new sake tasting.
Both the aroma and taste had a strong rice flavor, and the lingering full-bodied aftertaste had a strong impact on the palate.
The taste was robust as one would expect from Gikyo, but when tasting the opening of the mouth, a carbonation was felt and the light mouthfeel was unexpected. I wonder if it is coming closer to the flavor of today.
Kansai Sake-no-wa Year-End Party 202410
Following the off-line meeting at the Hankai Railway, kan-san brought in some local sake. He is full of love for his hometown.
Sake brought by kan-san.
Gikyo Nama Sake.
It has a milky flavor with a tangy, gaseous taste that is typical of nama-shu, and the taste of rice, with just the right amount of acidity and sweetness. This sake reminds us once again that sake is made from rice. Chivalry is a very orthodox and extremely tasty sake.
Thank you very much for your hospitality at the second and third meetings 🙇.
kan-san, thank you for the food 🙏.
Nemuchi, thank you for your hard work 😊.
Gikyo The name and itself are both very orthodox JAPAN 😊 If you make it a little looser, maybe women will be more likely to buy it ❓😁.
Thank you very much for your hard work at the off-line meeting, kan-san 🙇The "ORIGARA" is easy to drink because it is milky and has a strong flavor 😋I think it would be easier to pick up if it was more pop and stylishly named "GIKYO" 😁.
Kansai Salmon Roe Bring and Share Year-End Party⑭
Sake brought by kan-san.
It's a local drink, "gikyo" (chivalrous spirit).
I've been a chivalrous person since I drank the sake brought by kan-san at last year's Hankai Train Off-line Meeting.
Maybe it's because they use a lot of special A Yamadanishiki, but some people seem to think Gichiki is a Hyogo sake!
Also, I was told later at a certain place that Gikyo doesn't use rice from Aichi.
This sake is also made from Toyama Gohyakumangoku 🤔.
Dry and slightly effervescent
It has a strong rice flavor and is delicious 😋.
I searched for past posts and it looks like they are drinking it outside.
I don't have a perfect taste for Gikyo, but every time I drink it, the taste is so compelling that it convinces me 🤔.
I'm sure you'll be able to find something that you like. It was also very tasty 😋.
It was a nice kan sake 🤗.
I wish I could have tried kan sake 🤔.
A Year-End Party of the Kansai Branch 🍶⑧
Here are the drinks brought by Mr. kan
Aichi Prefecture's local love, Aichi Prefecture's chivalrous spirit 😁.
I can't describe it well, but it's classic, modern and delicious 😋.
Thank you kan 😊.
Hi Ao-chan, ☀️
Thanks for the year-end party!
And the faces are amazing... I'm so jealous 😭
Gikyo is delicious too!
The second picture looked like Jojo's "Let's go! lol!
Hi Ofuji 😃
Yes, I'm sure you're right! Never seen your face on the all star 😁.
You should come next time 😁.
I don't know Jojo but the angle of the label makes it look like a famous scene from a comic book 😰😁
It goes well with food!
It is an easy-to-drink food sake.
What a nokyo gohyakumangoku!
What a surprise!
It is not Nanto Goshurusei either (laugh).
It is 100% made by Nanto Agricultural Cooperative in Toyama Prefecture.
It was a cup of "I see".
Returned from a 4-night, 5-day business trip and drank at home.
I was tired and tired.
It was the first time to drink Gikyo at that time! It's a sake made with sake lees! Nama sake!
Yum!
I am thankful to be able to drink sake!
Gichikyou Gohyakumangoku Junmai Genmai Namaishu Namaishu
Sourness and bitterness that begins with umami and lingers.
I guess there are different tastes.
This is more like sake.
Sake-no-wa Kansai Off-line Meeting A Year-End Party ⑨
Next is a bottle of sake brought by Mr. Kan, who is a regular participant from out of the area as well as myself, and who joined the toast together with Mr. Kuuzo.
Gikyo Nama Sake.
A slightly sour lactic acid aroma, a tangy slightly carbonated mouthfeel, a firm umami, a soft sweetness, and a gentle aftertaste at the end.
Aichi sake" was full of love for Aichi, which seems to be brought by kan-san who lives in Aichi prefecture, and I regretted a little that I excluded "Fukui sake" this time 😅.
Thank you kan-san for your hospitality at the after-party and the third party 🙇.
Thanks for the food ✨
Good evening, Mr. Jive 🌙.
I drank this Gikyo myself and was so impressed by the underlying power of Gikyo 🥺I think there is a sake in Fukui that is comparable to this one, so I would be happy if you could introduce it to us 😆.
Good evening, kan🌛.
Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment 🙇.
I had "chivalry" last year and it was delicious 😁.
Despite the reasonable price, it was very satisfying 😋.
Hi Hiro, Good evening 🌛.
Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment 🙇.
This was one of the most memorable sakes I've had this year 😁.
I will post again as I recommend a local sake to open every New Year's ✨.
Nice aroma like fresh pineapple 🍍.
Pleasantly tangy and slightly carbonated in the mouth❗️
The silky and mild flavor of the oli spreads from there, filling the mouth with a sense of satisfaction 🤤.
The balance of bitterness and full-bodied umami that spreads from the mid-palate is also wonderful. ‼️
A great bottle with the freshness of new sake and full of umami. ❗️
Gikyo is delicious 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤.
☀️
Luckily, I opened the seal 🤗.
The sake rice is from Toyama Prefecture's What a Farmers Cooperative.
They made this sake to support the agricultural cooperative 🤔.
First the rice flavor 🌾.
Sweetness is like kiwi 🥝, sweet & sour 😊.
Then the rice flavor 🌾 (the second time)
It comes with a slight carbonation and a schwirl.
With the oden, the sweetness and umami is more powerful: ⤴️
And you can see the rice 🌾 in the orikara.
Maybe because I'm drunk, I see a microcosm🪐 in the boar's mouth🤩.
Sometimes I get shocked🫨 by some sake🍶, but honestly, I couldn't believe it was a junmai sake🍶🥰.
It was so good I couldn't help but have another 🙏.
Gikyo's raw sake, 60% Special A Yamada-Nishiki polished rice. Each bottle was wrapped in newspaper.
The aroma is faintly melon-like. The slightly full-bodied, straightforward sweetness and gradually spreading acidity overlap with a robust umami, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
A wonderful sake that takes you from an approachable start to a sake-like finish.
