We went to a sake brewery to purchase sake! The side dish was funazushi (funa-zushi) that I bought in Hikone. A man of success... no connections, no greed... 😆

Walking in Imai-cho Part 2 I bought this when I visited Kisake! Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol: 15 degrees Celsius Fruity aroma, classic taste when you drink it. Clear and beautiful taste. After a few hours, the sweetness comes out and it is delicious ♡. On the second day, more umami than sweetness. Longer aftertaste than yesterday. I preferred the first day when I felt the sweetness. I was a little sad to see the Daiginjyo I had a chance to taste was more fruity sweet and umami, though it was unavoidable. Here's a picture of lunch. This place is used for filming movies and TV dramas, and they serve it as a location bento, which is a plate â It was delicious and filling with a lot of side dishes ♡. The streets look like you've stepped back in time, a view you'll want to visit again and again ✨. Omake. A timid-looking old man who couldn't speak to us to tour the brewery followed us around as if he thought it would be easy 😳. But as soon as I asked him if I could have a tasting at the brewery, he was surprised and asked me if I could have a tasting at the brewery. He was so surprised when I asked him if we could have a tasting at the brewery 🤣.

Stroll in Imai-cho Part 1 I went to Imai-cho, Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, for a long-awaited visit! Imai-cho has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and has the largest number of traditional buildings in Japan! Kawai Sake Brewery is also an important cultural asset, and you can see the residence of a wealthy merchant. The tools used in the past are on display in the back of the building. The brewery staff gave us a detailed explanation of the history of the brewery. The sake forest is made of cedar from the Ojin Shrine, the god of sake brewing. It looked as if the power of the god resided in it ✨. The sake tasting set includes three types of sake selected by the brewer for 500 yen. You will receive either a sake cup or a Masu! Daiginjo-Isuze Otoko: Gorgeous aroma, sweet flavor, and easy to drink. Honjozo Genshu Izuseio - Classic taste. It has a classic taste with the richness of a pure sake! Fresh, sweet and refreshing, with a more modern taste. The easiest to drink. ❣️ I wanted the unfiltered junmai namaishu, but I bought the daiginjo sold in small bottles because it was still a walk in the park. The price was more reasonable than the Daiginjo sold at Kikisake because it had less alcohol! There used to be nine breweries in this town, but this is the only one left. I can't help but hope that it will last forever 🙏.

At home. The second in a series of self-indulgent Nara sake ‼️. The brewery is located in Imai-cho, Kashihara City and has been in existence since the Edo period. This neighborhood is famous as a sightseeing spot with its beautifully preserved old townscape. This was my first time to visit the brewery, and I was able to see the kitchen stove used in those days and the basket that my grandmother rode in when she married into the family. It was like a field trip for adults. And as for the taste... It is quite a dry sake, and when I️ took it slowly, I️ felt it was tough, but there was a sweet aroma behind the dryness, and after a little time, I️ could also taste the sourness. I would like to drink it with a little time. I️ was impressed to find many breweries in Nara that I️ didn't know existed even though I️ had passed by them before. I️ am glad that I️ now have more things to look forward to. Second day, there is a change in taste‼️. The sweetness of the food has increased dramatically. It changed very deliciously.

It is said to be aged for two years. I'm sure the breweries sell hiyaoroshi, but you can't buy the exact same aged stuff. but you can't buy the exact same aged one. After a quick shopping at the brewery festival, we went to the Hanshin Department Store. The Kawai Sake Brewery is a rare visitor to Umeda. I sometimes visit the Kintetsu Department Store in Harukas, though. They say it's sweet, but it's not as sweet as they say. There is sweetness, though. It has a slightly ripe, mild and gentle taste. Seems better with a meal than on its own. Chocolate, nutty and sour accents. I also tasted a sake called Aya, which was said to be dry, but I think Aya might have been easier to drink. I bought a bottle of Izuseio a few years ago, which was a raw, watered-down sake, but I think it was easier to drink than the raw sake. But overall, this sake has a matured feel to it. I think they said they pressed it in winter or spring and let it sit.
