This is the third cup of the Kyoto Tango trip!
Although the menu at the inn describes it as dry, the sweetness spreads at the moment of drinking, but soon recedes, making it a pleasant drink.
Goes well with local fish!
I got this sake as a gift.
It's been a long time since I've had a honjozo, but it feels like sake 😀 It seems to have won an award for heated sake, so I tried it heated and it was nice warmed up 😋.
I thought the bottle looked strange, but it was a five-pack bottle, which is common for shochu 🤣.
Because it is made with rice that is not from the same grade, it cannot claim a specific name, but it is in fact a junmai daiginjo.
It is an interesting sake that goes in very smoothly but has a soft sweetness in the aftertaste.
The moment I picked it up at Otsuki Sake Shop, the owner said to me, "That's interesting, that sake," and I was happy to purchase it.
I really like the usual running course because there are no people there. However, I am annoyed at the idiots who throw garbage on the street.
When chilled, it has a rich, mellow flavor. As the temperature rises, bitterness appears. It has bitterness even in a wine glass. I like to drink it in a gulping glass.
Shuten Doji Hyotan Karakoma Nama Nama Sake
50% Magaki, 100% Yamadanishiki
Hakurei Sake Brewery This is my first time drinking it.
The price is about 2,800 yen, which is a bargain for the standard, and it is said to be made from unqualified rice!
I bought it immediately because the previous out-of-order rice, Crap Star, from Yamanashi was too delicious!
Personally, it has a fruity sweetness, but I don't think I will drink it next time because I didn't like the taste!
But it's good for the price and easy to drink. ✨️
