Nara 2024 Tenpyo Festival at the Autumn Soraku Festa
I ordered the first glass as an aperitif.
It looked maidenly and I imagined it to be fruity and soft, but it had a surprisingly sharp taste and seemed to go well with nabe (hot pot).
It was an easy-drinking sake with no sharp characteristics, and just plain delicious!

The first sip is quite refreshing. It is as habit-free as if it were water. From the second sip, I felt a soft sweetness and a gentle bitterness in the aftertaste. It is just the right sake, not too spicy and not too sweet. It doesn't fight with the ankou ponzu (pickled gizzard fish paste) served with the entrée. It looks simple and can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner.

Fumotoi's Fumotoi Sake Brewery was severely damaged by the recent torrential rains.
It is my favorite sake, but I bought it to support them.
I have wanted to drink it for a long time.
The ginjo aroma is clean and refreshing, with a hint of alcohol.
