kachikoma
Kiyoto
Kachikoma Kiyoto is a very small brewery, producing only a few hundred koku per year. The brewery is a "handmade" brewery where the brewer himself is involved in all processes.
The text on the label is by Mitsuo Ikeda, an artist who is a fan of Katsuma.
The origin of the name "Katsikoma" comes from Keisuke Seito, the first brewery owner, who returned from the Russo-Japanese War in 1906 (the year after the war ended) and opened a sake brewery in his hometown, Takaoka City, and named it "Katsikoma" to commemorate his victory in the war.
The intent of the piece is not known.
Monday's regular event - jogging at a leisurely pace, followed by a drink comparison at an antenna store....
Today's drink is from Toyama Prefecture (3rd drink)!
Katsuma Junmai Sake
Gohyakumangoku, Kanazawa yeast
Aroma: Low banana aroma
Mouthfeel: Mild sweetness?
Medium: Umami?
Aftertaste: Sudden acidity, dry and sharp
It is a classic type that can be drunk well, but it may have been the best match for today's firefly squid.
Autumn Sake: Favorite Score: 8.0/10
Aroma: 1.5|Mouthfeel: 1.5|Medium: 1.5|Final taste: 1.5|Price: 2.0
Memorandum for myself
Trophy of Toyama trip (2)
It has more punch than Junmai.
However, it is not difficult to drink, and it goes down smoothly.
I think this one is more drinkable for me.
Good evening 🐓🐤🥚😃Congratulations on your 200 check-in 🎊Congratulations on your 200 check-in 🎊Congratulations on your Katsikoma, it's a good number 😋I've never had it yet but it looks delicious✨.
Memorandum for myself
This is a trophy of my trip to Toyama.
Gentle on the palate, sweet like cotton candy instead of fruity sweetness.
Easy to drink with just the right amount of sharpness.
Rice polishing ratio 40%, 17% alcohol by volume, 100% Yamadanishiki
It has a nice aroma. When you drink it, it has a very fruity aroma as the label says. The sharpness is also good. Although it is a dry sake with a high alcohol content, it is easy to drink. Dangerous.
