Third round of drinks from beer and highballs at a year-end party with friends in the same industry! Winter makes me want to drink hot sake, doesn't it? The dry sake that makes the back of your throat go "kaaa" soaks into all of your internal organs. Thank you for all your hard work this year.

This is a brand often seen at izakaya (Japanese style pubs). I did not take a picture of it because it was hot. It went well with scallops, grilled squid, and the octopus sausage in the photo.

I imagined it to be light and dry since it is a dry version of Shochiku Ume, but it was indeed dry and sweet at the same time.
It has a classic flavor, and although it was served at room temperature this time, I would like to try heating it up next time.
