Not as dry as I expected.
Sweet at first, piquant later.
It tastes good cold, but as the temperature rises, it becomes milder.
Excellent for a special honjozo.
4.0
Slight aroma of koji
Hard to describe when well chilled
First time tasting it 🤔I guess I don't have enough vocabulary...💦.
As it warms up and approaches room temperature, the sweetness and full-bodied umami of the rice is strongly felt, and a sense of refreshment comes later. Delicious to drink at room temperature 😋😋.
Also goes well with sashimi👍
I thought it would be like a spicy one, but it has a soft sweetness on the palate. The taste then tightens up, and the aftertaste is short, so I keep saying "one more sip, one more sip," and I keep going.
It has a good flavor & a nice sweetness....you want to roll it around and savor it. After enjoying it, you swallow it quickly...it also has a wonderful, refreshing feeling! Delicious!
It was a honjozo, and it said it was very dry, so I drank it and wondered what it was like!
It was mildly sweet, and although I'm not a fan of brewer's alcohol taste, I liked it and wanted to drink it again, so here's a note ✍.
I got a few bottles of local sake at the liquor store before coming to the ryokan, so I'm looking forward to it when I get home 🤤.
It's called a secret sake, but it's more like a taste you can drink every day and never get tired of. Protein and refreshing. It's like a cold guy, but for some reason, you always hang out with him and he's your best friend with just the right amount of distance between you and him.
