The shopkeeper at the Ponshukan's sake bar recommended it to me. It is an interesting sake with a honey taste, as it is made with honey-derived yeast. It is said that this is the July edition of the limited edition sake that the Shirotaki Sake Brewery releases once a month, and it is also good that it is only available while supplies last.

Sake that is like a Japanese pear in both aroma and flavor. Moderately spicy and easy to drink, with a pear-like flavor that passes through the nose and throat. It is a well-balanced bottle. The last sake I chose was a sake that most sake lovers seem to like, like an honor student of sake. I wonder who writes the characters on these labels. I wonder if there is a certain calligrapher who is good at writing sake labels.

This is a very dry sake with a sake strength of +15. It has a strong spiciness, but is light on the palate, making it easy to drink despite its spiciness. I, who loves spicy sake, couldn't help but reach for it. It is indeed spicy, but it has an elegant spiciness, or rather, a calm and comfortable feeling, which makes me think that the sake will go down very well.

A crisp, light, dry sake. It has a deep, full-bodied, nutty flavor. It is a bottle suitable for drinking with food, and you will never get tired of drinking it. It is said that it is a "good sake for a meal. I was curious to try this sake, which was not available at my last visit, and found it to be summery and tasty. I am not sure about the words "nutty" and "citrusy" in the sake introduction, but it is true that this sake has a nutty aroma that spreads both on the nose and palate.

The elegant sweetness with a hint of white sugar, moist mouthfeel, and spiciness in the aftertaste make it hard to believe that it is an ordinary sake, and it is truly an exquisite ordinary sake. The taste of this sake is completely based on the label. Because the people involved in making good sake are very serious and particular about it, the color and shape of the bottle and the label are also very nice (my own opinion).

@Ponshukan This sake has both a strong, rich rice flavor and an easy-drinking quality that slips right through. Tastefully spicy! And it is indeed spicy. It is indeed spicy, but not unpleasantly so. It makes me want to eat seafood. It seems to be a special junmai (pure rice), and although it was not available at the store, I like it a lot.

@Ponshukan A very rare junmai sake made with 100% Niigata-grown Yamadanishiki and 90% polished rice. It is very hot and has a sharp aftertaste. When you are told that it is rare, it makes you curious. I took the waiter's good description and took a sip first. It was delicious. I wonder if this is the kind of "spiciness" that so-called "spiciness" lovers are looking for. I like the name and the package.

@Ponshukan The slightly light taste gives the sake a strong and unique flavor in the mouth. It is a unique sake with a slightly peculiar aftertaste. When a sake is described as a unique sake, it is natural for a drinker to want to try it. It certainly tastes like a unique sake, or perhaps not a sake at all, but I love it! I just want to drink it with lightly seasoned pickles and salt.

@Ponshukan Sake with very strong rice flavor and richness due to four-stage brewing using glutinous rice. The aftertaste is not too strong, but you can feel the sweetness of the rice I had never had a sake made with glutinous rice, so I sipped it. What is this? It's so good! I didn't know glutinous rice could turn into something like this. This sake makes me glad that I have a tongue that can appreciate the taste of rice.

@Ponshukan Mild ginjo aroma and smooth taste You'd think it was a classy ginjo, but it's actually a regular sake! It's a "high quality sake"! I couldn't help but sample this sake. It was my first time to try Muskagami sake, but it was interesting and I would like to have it at home.

@Ponshukan A sweet sake with rice sweetness and melon-like fruitiness in a gentle drinking style. Room temperature or warmed. The description says, "It's so good that even I, a dry sake lover, can't help but groan at the taste.

Umeshu (plum wine) from Koshino Keitora, which was welcomed by Furusato Tax. The refreshing taste of Keitora and the pleasant sourness of ume make it perfect for summer. The sake is sake-based, so it is also low in sugar.

The sake is named after his wife, who quit her nursing job at the age of 38 to devote herself to sake brewing, and the sake rice is polished to 38%. The rich aroma wafting through the air as soon as you open the bottle will make your eyes water, and when you take a sip, you will be enchanted by the delicious flavor of the rice. The sweetness and the tangy sensation that follows the taste in the throat are unique and addictive.
