I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I bought this one that happened to catch my eye.
The aroma is not that distinctive...but the mild taste of the rice 🍶 and the sweetness of the first mouthful keeps the pace going ✨.
I had it cold, and it has a delicious rice flavor that I have never felt with cold sake, and a mildness that makes it seem as if it were served at room temperature. Today's accompaniments were meat and vegetables, but I think sashimi would go well with it. I am going to prepare sashimi before I finish it.
The first day I was concerned about the residual sweetness, but after 3 days it was easy to drink with just the right amount of sweetness and squeaky acidity.
Purchased when I stopped by a roadside station in Nagaoka. It is easy to drink with a melon aroma and a lingering sweetness. Today's snack is sasakama.
In the mouth, it is soft and fluffy. Yet, it also has a delicious flavor, and you feel as if you are chewing on an oyster. It is kind of creamy and delicious. I think I've had a similar sake before, but I'm not sure what it was. Anyway, it is ranked as one of MY (cheap and tasty sake after a long time).
Purchased at a roadside station in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, famous for its fireworks.
The design of the cup is stylish 🎆✨.
I served it lukewarm.
