In the Shonai region of Yamagata Prefecture, which is dotted with some of the most popular sake breweries in Japan, "Matsumine no Fuji" has been loved by local sake fans for a long time, but the "Family Crest Label" series was released in 2018 with the aim of taking the prestige of the brewery to a higher level.
This Junmai Ginjo no Karakuchi is a large dry Junmai Ginjo with a sake strength of +9, brewed with Yamagata Prefecture's original sake brewing rice "Dewa Sanzu" and "Dewa Kirari". Even though it is a very dry sake, it does not have a harsh and sharp taste, but has a gentle and soft aroma and a mild spiciness that makes it a pleasant dry sake.
