The company's website said that they had decided to stop producing their own sake and would be outsourcing the production from now on.
The sake I got was apparently made by the company itself.

I took a sip of the cold sake while thinking about Uchiki Shuzo's more than 200 years of history.

It is a dry sake with a traditional, robust flavor.
No wonder they recommend heating it up. After a while, when the glass is lukewarm, it is much easier to drink than the first sip.

We eat unagi only once or twice a year, but it is our favorite food.
We eat it on the first day of the four consecutive holidays. It's made with Asahi Masamune sake from Uchiki Shuzo, a sake brewery in Saitama City.

I think the label design is nice.
I like the classic look.
But it's really Showa taste.
It tastes like a regular sake⁉️.
The pop-up at the liquor store says it can be served cold, at room temperature, or hot, but I can't drink it unless it's lukewarm or hotter.
It's got a messy taste and an unpleasant sourness.
