Iwano-izumi was drunk at the Odawara Kamaboko Dori Revitalization Council's [Autumn Sake Ajiwai Tour - Junmai Sake from all 13 breweries]. It has a slightly old-fashioned flavor.
Today, my eldest son came back from Kanagawa, and he stopped by 4 sake breweries and bought me some sake 🍶... First of all, this one 💁 was completely unmarked... I didn't know the brand or the brewery... The label looks stylish, 60% polished rice, what rice is it? It has a classical mouthfeel. I think it is better to drink it as it is than to drink it with a meal (⭕️). I wonder if there are various local sakes in Kanagawa...

Shimizu Sake Brewery visited on a Kanagawa Prefecture sake brewery tour.
If it is the oldest sake brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture, we had to visit it! So we decided to visit ☺️
The brewing of this year's sake seemed to have been finished early, and the brewery was very quiet. The wife of the brewer kindly greeted us. The brewery produces only a few bottles of sake, and most of it is consumed within the prefecture, so it is not often seen in sake stores.
She told us that they value traditional sake brewing, but since we are Junmai people, we bought a Junmai Ginjo.
Drinking it cold, it tasted of grain and rich rice; warming it up to 40 degrees gave it a fuller, rounder flavor 🍶✨.
