Sake from a very local brewery. For some reason, I had never had a chance to drink it before, but I met it at the restaurant today. It is a crisp, clear, dry junmai sake.

It is a little spicy at first, but the richness spreads in the mouth, and the throat is gentle. It is an easy to drink sake.

This is one of the "Saitama Juju Kura Drinking Set" from Saitama Shuppan Co. Between 15 and 16% alcohol by volume Rice polishing rate 60%. Contents 180ml I tried drinking it cold while picking up some octopus crackers, but it felt a bit scratchy. I'm not sure if this is what is called "spicy". Does it go better as a hot drink?
