I bought a small bottle in izakaya in Shanghai. This is a bottle designed for Heiseiya Izakaya chain in China.
Type: daiginjo, rice: domestic rice, rice polishing rate: 50%, alc.: 17%
Aroma is mild for daiginjo. I don't get much fruity aroma. Flavor is dry and light. I am missing the elegance of daiginjo.
A one-cup series drinking comparison that you want to take with you to Hanami (cherry blossom viewing),
Oki Sake Brewery is located in Oki Island, Shimane Prefecture, which is also recognized as a World Geopark. There is a sake brewery on Oki Island...!
The label is simple: cherry blossoms with pink petals, described as "Sakura Kusa". It appears to be found in Hiruzen, Daisen-Oki National Park. The actual flower has petals like those of a lawn cherry.
This is a regular Oki sake, aka "Kasen" by Taka Masamune.
Here is another Masamune.
The aroma is mild.

A drinking party with an old friend whom I haven't seen in several decades. The standard Takamasamune. We were drinking in a good mood, but there was a rumor that it was Oki Honor.... I wonder if it is true.
I'm hungover today 🍶.
