Nada is a sake from Mikage Township.
Izumi Shuzo is one of my favorite breweries, brewing Senzuke and Kosen.
I found it at Liquor World in Fukui. Got it without a second thought!
It is a fire-brewed sake.
It has a refreshing sweetness. Quite gassy.
Sharp acidity and slight bitterness come and go sharply.
As expected from a once-hiked sake.
Lemon-y, limey freshness!
(A bit underrated by my mother, who prefers sweeter, more palatable sake to sharp, dry sake.)
How about when warmed up?
The spiciness wells up.
It is followed by pokopoko and prose sourness, limey aroma, and sweetness.
However, I think it gets a bit cloying.
I think this is best drunk cold.
Fourth day back home; I've been drinking a lot for four days in a row.
I guess I'll have to stop drinking for a while after I return to Hyogo... lol.
It is crisp, clean, and delicious. It is not a ginjo-shu, but it is refreshing and has a punchy 17% alcohol content. I would like to buy this brand again.
Nada Sake.
Izumi Shuzo is the brewer of Senzuke and Hakuizumi.
Izumi Shuzo occasionally releases a limited edition Izumi Challenge.
First, as it is.
It has a sharp taste that comes quickly, a sweetness that spreads refreshingly, and a spiciness that spreads quickly. There is a considerable sense of gas. Although it is a pure sake, it doesn't seem too harsh due to the crisp mouthfeel.
How about drinking it with ice?
The gaseous sensation becomes stronger, and the sweetness is preceded by a deep and refreshing acidity, and the overall flavor becomes fuller. The alcohol hit becomes a little stronger and the aftertaste is a little astringent, so some people may find it difficult to drink.
It is better to drink it with ice if you want to drink something with a strong flavor.
Perhaps it is because it is served quite cold that it goes down the throat so well!
How about when it is warmed up?
The taste is light. It has a refreshing spiciness that bounces off the palate. The sharp sweetness that follows is also interesting.
It would be good to drink it on the rocks, and when you get tired of drinking it, you can warm it up and change your mood.
There are many ways to enjoy it, and it is quite interesting.
This Izumi Challenge has been a regular product under the Senzuke label for some time.
I wonder if this sake will also become a regular product?

Overall rating: ★★★☆☆☆☆.
First time drinking this brand. And it's a strain of drinking that I haven't been able to classify yet because it's been so long.
I think it depends on the strength of the alcohol content of 17 degrees, but it seems to push you with its volume. It has the freshness and flavor of undiluted sake. However, there is almost no aroma, and it is characterized by a strong push that says, "I am drinking sake. It reminds me of Rumiko's sake.
I don't like it very much, but I think it's delicious.
I didn't record that I drank this in June. It has a fruity mouthfeel, but the sweetness spreads out in a gorgeous way. It's called Izumi, but it's a delicious sake that reminds you of cherry blossoms in full bloom ✨ ✨ がってがってがってがって
Very clean and fresh. The light acidity on the tongue gives way to a deep and sweet taste, a beautiful sake that can be enjoyed both during and after meals.
Alcohol level 20 Sake level 22🤔 I feel like they are completely trying to kill me lol There is a little bit of a habit, it's a bitterness from the sourness but it's also very sharp. I think this is the first time I've ever had a sake with this much dryness and habit.
