Tonight, we have four sake selections chosen by the owner of a sushi restaurant that has a one-and-a-half year waiting list for reservations. We started with a junmai sake from Suzukagawa, which is only available in Mie Prefecture🧡.
The name "premium" doesn't do it justice.
Sweet and easy to drink, you can drink it forever!
Combine this with slightly bitter pickled firefly squid and you have a happy combination!
I felt the sweetness, but with a little sourness in the aftertaste!
I felt it was a great sake to pair with fish!
I think it is for those who are a little more used to sake!
Both the aroma and taste are sweet and very easy to drink!
After taking a sip, the sweetness is followed by a hint of sake, giving the impression that it is suitable for beginners!
I would drink too much of this!
Sake from the brewery that makes the famous Sakusaku sake.
It was a very delicious sake with the highest level of fruity aroma, moderate sweetness, and flavor in the mouth so far!
The aroma is strong, but the mouthfeel is gentle and easy to drink.
I recommend this sake when you want to enjoy the sweetness and aroma.
My favorite ★★★★★
Second standing drink of the day.
Juicy sweet and very easy to drink.
It was a little too sweet for me, so I drank it all by itself without reducing the number of snacks.
I highly recommend this sake for those who are not good at sake.
This is a sake from Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, a well-known "Saku" company. This may be my first time drinking it.
Saku" is characterized by a very gorgeous aroma, but this one is not so much.
I think the mouthfeel is on the mellow side. My first impression was that it was sweet.
Accompaniments,
Sashimi (sea bream and swordfish)
Squid and taro stew
I had both light and moist snacks, but either one would be fine. I finished them in no time 😊.
