Seldom find Tottori Koshu in Hong Kong market so it worths a note. Clear ageing smell on nose with mushroom, seaweed and soy sauce. On palate it does show some caramel and chocolate taste, also nutty feel at the back like chestnut and roasted nuts. Not as heavy as expected - may be a good match with rich cheesy food. Some taste of aged cheese as well. I guess beginners may not like this but worth trying as it does show the wide range of Nihonshu.

Drinking at a hotel today
I had a drink with sake I bought while traveling in Tottori on a business trip.
This sake has a sweet taste and leaves a slight aftertaste in the mouth🍶.
It also has a slight thickening.
However, when eaten with cheese, it enhances the flavor of the cheese and the sake refreshes the palate.
Perfect combination👍

The day before, I was in Tottori and for dinner, I took out ocak, liver, and horumon soba from Matsuya Horumon, which was in Season 8 of Gourmet of Solitude, and ate it at the hotel 😁.
Ocak and liver are salty guts❗️
The horumon soba (buckwheat noodle) was served with an optional red miso sauce for extra flavor 🤗.

From Tottori, we will take a short cut through Hyogo Prefecture on a third sector line called Chigashira Express to join the Sanyo Main Line 😊.
A 3-hour trip on the Super Hakuto No. 4 limited express leaving Tottori before 9:00 a.m.
Naturally, something indispensable 😁.

I bought it along with the sushi with ahi sushi from the ekiben shop in the station 👍.
By the way, jaw means flying fish.
I opened the bottle while listening to the roaring sound of the engine as it departed ❗️😁.
First of all, the aroma is, ummm, hard to tell 😅 because it is disturbed by the glassy smell of the bottle.
I only know that it irritates my nostrils with a twang.
And when you put it in your mouth, it's deliciously spicy❗️and it's also spicy!
It spreads quickly in the mouth and lingers for a long time.
It goes well with Ago Sushi, and the bitterness peculiar to Ago is washed away so nicely that I finished it in one sitting 🤗.
