One of the two drinks in the lunch drinking lunch set.
This is delicious! I couldn't help but say, "I love it! I was surprised and said, "I love this one!
It was empty when I had my first glass, but I want to drink it again.
It has a great balance between the freshness of the unfiltered unpasteurized sake and the umami of the rice! The alcohol content is high, so an empty stomach will make you feel sick!
Alcohol content: 18%.
Rice: Gohyakumangoku produced in Wajima City
Rice polishing ratio: Kake rice 55%, Koji rice 60
Tasted at Kanazawa Jishu brewery at Kanazawa station.
It has no corners and has a sweetness of rice.
The aroma is mild because it is not a ginjo-shu.
The first sip had a banana-like aroma.
This sake is surely delicious even when heated.
Today we have Wajima Monogatari.
This sake is made entirely from Gohyakumangoku grown in Wajima City by the Shirafuji Shuzo brewery of Shirakiku in Okunoto.
The aroma is mildly refreshing.
When you take a sip, you will feel a sharp alcohol taste in your nose. The mouthfeel is smooth and robust, with a milky rice flavor and a clear spiciness.
When we warmed it up after reading online that it is suitable for warmed sake, it became softer on the palate and transformed into a sake with a gentle sweetness and umami flavor. The dryness is balanced out by the tangy dryness. It is definitely a sake that shines when heated.
After a day's storage, the corners are removed and the soft sweetness and umami taste is delicious even when cold.
I have been waiting for a bottle of Okunoto's Shirakiku for some time.
I had hoped to have a bottle of Okunoto's Shirakiku someday, but I came across Wajima Monogatari by chance, which raised my expectations even more.
There are so many sakes I want to drink, I can't choose the next one.
Cold Orosaki from another brand of Shiragiku in Okunoto.
The sake brewery here has a good taste of rice
The sake brewery is full of sake
I have high expectations for the cold sake 😆.
When you open the bottle, you can feel the nice aroma of the rice 😍.
But there's also a bit of alcoholiness 🤔.
In the mouth, the flavor of the rice spreads all at once and is very flavorful😄.
It's not very fruity or gorgeous.
The aftertaste is clean and crisp.
It's very good as a midday sake.
The overall taste is dry but
You can feel the sweetness of Wasanbon.
I can recommend it to everyone as a mellow dry sake😁.
I'm sure it would be absolutely delicious heated up 😎.
I'll try a cold or hot sake from tomorrow onwards🎶.
Good evening, etorannzyu-san!
I'm sure you'll love it.
I've read that it has a strong rice flavor, so I thought it might be okay, but I've never tried it before so I'm not sure 😅.
Haruei Chichi, good evening😄.
This is the information from the liquor store I always buy from.
I've heard that all of the sake breweries here are basically delicious heated up.
I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like.
Gohyakumangoku from Wajima, 60% polished rice, 16% alcohol
It was my third glass so I didn't feel the aroma because I was paralyzed, no shame! 😣
This is a very easy to drink sake. I think it had some richness too, can't really remember 😅.
Rice: Gohyakumangoku
Rice polishing ratio 60
Barrel pressed, no ori-dori
It seems to be unfiltered and slightly cloudy.
(It's hard to tell from the picture.)
When you try to drink it
You will be surprised.
It has a refreshing sourness.
It's like an apple.
Although the aroma is not strong
but the aftertaste is strong.
It has a strength that is typical of unpasteurized sake.
To be enjoyed with a meal
but with snacks.
slowly.
I paired it with Noto's cream cheese
and cream cheese
but it would be good with a little sweeter cream cheese.
Because I like the mellow than sour
because I like the mellow type
I like Shiragiku better.
