It has a great balance between the freshness of the unfiltered unpasteurized sake and the umami of the rice! The alcohol content is high, so an empty stomach will make you feel sick!

The first sip had a banana-like aroma.

ひるぺこ
Today we have Wajima Monogatari.
This sake is made entirely from Gohyakumangoku grown in Wajima City by the Shirafuji Shuzo brewery of Shirakiku in Okunoto.
The aroma is mildly refreshing.
When you take a sip, you will feel a sharp alcohol taste in your nose. The mouthfeel is smooth and robust, with a milky rice flavor and a clear spiciness.
When we warmed it up after reading online that it is suitable for warmed sake, it became softer on the palate and transformed into a sake with a gentle sweetness and umami flavor. The dryness is balanced out by the tangy dryness. It is definitely a sake that shines when heated.
After a day's storage, the corners are removed and the soft sweetness and umami taste is delicious even when cold.
I have been waiting for a bottle of Okunoto's Shirakiku for some time.
I had hoped to have a bottle of Okunoto's Shirakiku someday, but I came across Wajima Monogatari by chance, which raised my expectations even more.
There are so many sakes I want to drink, I can't choose the next one.

When you open the bottle, you can feel the nice aroma of the rice 😍.
But there's also a bit of alcoholiness 🤔.
In the mouth, the flavor of the rice spreads all at once and is very flavorful😄.
It's not very fruity or gorgeous.
The aftertaste is clean and crisp.
It's very good as a midday sake.
The overall taste is dry but
You can feel the sweetness of Wasanbon.
I can recommend it to everyone as a mellow dry sake😁.
I'm sure it would be absolutely delicious heated up 😎.

It was my third glass so I didn't feel the aroma because I was paralyzed, no shame! 😣
This is a very easy to drink sake. I think it had some richness too, can't really remember 😅.
