This is today's last sakè, a pearl hidden in the private collection!
This is not a Junnmai, but is very well balced easily drinkable.
19 degrees, too dangerous for Christmas!!!
Ok, this one is very special.
Cold as soon as in poured is dry and clean, light, but sa soon ad pass few minutes start to change.
The alcohol after few minutes becom very present and I feel a little lime flavor.
BUT
When it reach the ambient temperature wow it become intense, dense and enveloping.
Perfect for last glass of the day!
Not personally a fan of sweet sakè, but this is different.
Sweet and balanced, good with salty fish.
The first time I come in Japan I loved only dry sakè, but now after 4 years, I'm starting to love all kind of sakè!
This is a Usunigori (light nigori)
This has a good personality, the sturdiness is cushioned by the nigori and the result is a good sakè to close the diner.
Wow! Very decise Koshu with a deepness of Yamahai.
At the first sip you can feel all the complexity when is cold and at ambient temperature gain more robustness.
Probably it is very good also a little warm, perfect for cold winter!
As described in the label it is pointy!
Pointy but nice!
At the noose has a fresh scent, but the flavor is totally different.
Strong robust and intense, pointy butter and rough.
Soo, sound weired, but i like very much! For me the best is with some nukazuke!
Cold has a strong presence of alcohol but at ambient temperature become more and more mild and easy to drink.
Yes this is an other sakè worth waiting before drinking!
This combination, unfiltered , crude, unduited, can lead only in a strong flavor.
I have to say that cold as soon as it comes out of the fridge it has a fairly strong acid presence, but at ambient temperature it becomes less esgy while maintaining all the characteristics of strong flavours.
Definitely worth the wait!
Very round and soft, personally I can feel a very very little sweetness of anice liquor.
Nonosan in Hyougo's dialect means Cannon-sama (buddisht deietry of mercy), and yes, is a very holy sakè!
The flavor is an aged sakè (Koshu) with a quite strong presence of.. Lemon?
A bit too sour for me, but I don't know why it rest in the glass only few second.
Sweet and balanced flavor, very clean with a little rice/bitterness that came only after few seconds.
This sakè has been made with a very particular rice that usually is not used for sakè, totally worthy to try!
I like very much this Namazake, it has a refreshing flavor and good presence of Nama without the bitterness.
It also have a very light sparkling that is very welcome when you are thirsty.
