It is clear and soft, with a subtle rice flavor that spreads gradually. It gives the impression of being a simple food sake. Personally, I prefer to drink it chilled, as it seems to become a bit blurred when the temperature rises.
Light and refreshing for a Shikishima, as is typical for a summer sake. It finishes with the usual lime-like acidity.
Again this year, there was not much muscat flavor.
It has the freshness and crispness of a fresh summer sake, but at the same time it has a mellow sweetness and umami that includes a fruity flavor.
It is difficult to describe, but it gives the impression of being firm for a summer sake.
