Suzuki Shuzo, which was evacuated from Namie City in Fukushima Prefecture to Nagai City in Yamagata Prefecture due to the nuclear power plant accident, has created a sake to support the recovery of the area. The sake is made from "Sawa no Hana," certified rice grown by the NPO Rainbow Plan in Nagai City. This is a limited-quantity product that goes on sale today every year. A portion of the proceeds will be used for educational activities for children who have been displaced by the earthquake.
