The name "Misato" (beautiful village) means "to preserve the unique terraced rice paddies of Japan. The drinking comfort of this 80% polished sake is magnificent.
Some people may recognize the name Kitajima Sake Brewery from the name and label. There are two types of sake: hi-iri (hi-iri) and nama (nama), and the nama is delicious.
This is the Mutsuki version of the heated frog. It is made from 100% Tamakae rice, and the flavor changes as the rice changes. Personally, I like the twist of the Shimotsuki version better.
