It was a little hard to drink at room temperature or cold, so I heated it up and it turned out really mild and delicious! Perfect for a cold day! This was a gift from an event in Machida City where they grow rice in buckets. Great package! I was told that they might not be able to make it next year for a number of reasons (;´)

I've had this sake before, but the pressure is strong, strong (laughs). There are definitely people who don't like it, but if you like it heavy and strong, you can drink it. It's tingling, it's alcoholic, it's not for beginners! I want you to try it at least once. It is good to drink with spicy food.

It's like a traditional dry sake. There is almost no acidity. With a meal, the alcohol smell disappears and the taste becomes soft. If you drink it alone, you will get a strong feeling of sake. At room temperature, the roundness comes out and it is good.

This shop (地酒屋こだま) is famous for letting sake sleep for some time to give it a more aged flavor so I can't say if this is the original flavor, but for shure I can say that this is one of my favourite! In the label it say that it is like the miso, and yes has some deep salty presence that reminds me something fermented. OK probably it's not the best description of a sake, but I can assure that it is very well balanced and drinked with some cheese is the best!

The mellow and soft flavor in the mouth makes you think, and the pleasant spiciness and sourness when you drink it down is so refreshing that I really liked it... It's not a unique flavor, but it can be enjoyed with any kind of food.

Found this small bottle at Shiojiri station and couldn’t resist trying it since it was 無濾過生原酒 and 直汲み. Pretty rough sake. 20%! And fairly dry. Too strong to finish a bottle but it was nice to try a few sips while enjoying the train window view.. might be better for slow sipping on a cold night. 3.00/5

吹き出し注意！の通り、何回も栓を明け閉めしないと半分くらい吹き出してしまいそうな活性具合、程よい苦味がたまらない。甘味も辛味も全て主張するけど、バランスが良い！
