The second bottle of Mie souvenir. I haven't seen this one at a local sake shop in my prefecture.
From the aroma, it seems like a so-called sake. It is colored in the glass. When I drank it, I found a sweet taste and aroma reminiscent of sake made by major brewers such as Kenrishi. It has a strong flavor. It is rare to find a junmai daiginjo like this from a local sake brewery.
I felt something strange, and when I searched for this sake on the Internet, I found that the word "fruity" or "refreshing" was used to describe it. Perhaps it was aged quickly for some reason? Or is it originally like this?
I have no way to compare them, and I don't dislike this kind of taste, so I guess it's okay.
I have posted my impressions of various sakes from all over Japan on Sake-no-Wawa, but I am not sure if all of them are in the best condition, so please read them with half a story in mind.
Sour aroma.
Thick, tangy and weighty taste like cafe au lait. It is very habitual. It makes you feel like you are drinking shochu. The taste that remains in your mouth is stronger than the aroma that passes through your nose. It is a very sharp and decisive taste.
A souvenir for home when I visited Mie Prefecture, Amplevu. As you can see on the bottle, it's bursting with fruitiness, like apples and muscats!
It's a very sweet wine at -40, but the acidity is very strong and refreshing 😊.
Delicious‼️I️want to drink this every day!
Home garden barbecue, meat and amplevu, sun and sake, it's the best ❤️.
Sangu is the first time in about 2 years of sales.
It has a solid body with the power of Aizan, but it feels lighter than the last time I drank it.
It also seems a little sweeter... Is it my imagination?
I have no complaints, and I still like the same type, but I wonder if my taste buds have changed?
When I evaluate it calmly, I can taste the flavor and the sharpness is good.
It is not fruity, but it is slightly sweet and well-balanced.
It is a good sake!
If the morning is slow tomorrow, I will drink. LOL!
Mie Prefecture Series #3: Tonight, we are at Amplevue in Sangu. The bottle looks like a white wine, but is it?
The aroma is of white grapes or green apples, and the impression is refreshing, but the taste is rich, quite sweet, but the aftertaste with acidity is surprisingly short and not too sweet. What a white wine this is! LOL!
If it were called Riesling, it would fit right in. This is a bottle of sake that will make you learn that there is such a sake as this.
It's sweet in an obvious way, but there's also a lingering bitter chocolate note that makes it a fun mix of sweet and bitter. I couldn't heat it up, but it looks good even when it's warm.
Appearance Sound Almost colorless, but faintly foamy gas Viscosity Moderate
Aroma High to moderately high, green apple, cerfille, and other herbaceous and refreshingly sweet aromas, with a faint hint of cemendine? and lactic acidic notes of cottage cheese and yogurt.
Taste Sound, with a rather high overtones. Strong sweetness at first, like white sugar, with a faint herbaceous, refreshing bitterness, and at the same time, a mild flavor. The acidity is also there, but fruity and lactic... The aftertaste is rather long, with sweetness and umami lingering for a long time. Sweet
I thought it was a mellow sake, but... hmm. It's not as fragrant as a scented sake.
