Lastly, Honorary Pond Moon, my first drink 😍.
The aroma is faint but I can't tell.
The mouthfeel is slightly smooth and the umami is beautiful. The beautiful acidity is accentuated by the lingering aftertaste, which is short and disappears.
It is a sake with beautiful umami and acidity, delicious as a stand-alone sake, or as a food sake! It was such a sake 🍶.
Characterized by its elegant sweetness and umami.
It also has a moderate acidity, making it a perfect match for fried food.
It is a sake that brings good luck in the New Year with its name of "Honor" and "En no Mai".
Serve with fried bean curd
One step ahead of the others, Kohaku at Honor Pond Moon.
The peach-colored (Kohaku) I opened the other day is like a strawberry shake, but this white is seriously good as a so-called sake.
The bitterness that preceded the first glass of the first sake was quickly offset by a hint of sweetness and acidity, and from the second glass onward, it all came together to create an irresistible snowball effect.
There is a lot of talk in the world about the "three major nigori" or the "four heavenly kings of nigori," but this sake is no slouch.
The running course in the neighborhood seems to have a faceless atmosphere.
Merry Christmas!
So here is what I opened.
The sweet and sour taste is perfect for tonight's mood. It has a Sake degree of minus 40, but the acidity is refreshing and it goes down a treat.
I don't buy cakes anymore, but I want to keep having Christmas parties as long as my second son is in elementary school.
The neighborhood is a park, a little bit decorated, and that was enough to get me in the Christmas spirit.

Even though we only drank a little
They lined up the bottles for me.
very kind shopkeeper.
kind clerk 😊.
Here comes a brand I don't usually come across. I drank Ikezuki almost 10 years ago, but this is Honorary Ikezuki, so it is different! When I went to buy Shinomine, Kozaemon and Honorary Ikegetsu nigori were recommended to me. I don't drink either of them, or rather, I don't usually encounter them. I would not drink them even if I saw them without a recommendation, so I am very grateful for that. And the price tag of 1,300 yen is not bad, is it?
First of all...isn't there a lot of nigori in it? I was looking for something like this, so I'm honestly disappointed. I was looking for something like this, so I honestly have high expectations!
The foaming sensation was restrained. You don't feel the activity when you drink it, but there is a freshness to it.
It's refreshing and moderately thick! If you don't mix it well, it gets thicker and thicker towards the end, but it's also delicious. It is fun to enjoy the gradation, and I think it is also fun to mix it unevenly and just drink it creamy at the end, rather than mixing it tightly from the beginning.
This was really good as a flavor, and the costumers' egocentricity was tremendous! This is one I want to buy again next year. I was very impressed. I'd buy it in a bottle...!
Japanese sake? It smells and tastes like strawberry milk!
It smells and tastes like strawberry milk!
What is this?
No coloring at all, this was an unexpected, first time taste!
Delicious 😋.
Purchased at a roadside station in the mountains of Shimane. I had never heard of modified Omachi sake rice. I was surprised to find that it was not an old-fashioned sake, but had a nice riceiness and sophistication that was just right for sake lovers, despite being from such a rural area. I felt the power of Shimane's sake.
The aroma is mellow and sake-like.
When you drink it, it is very hot and spicy, which is typical of a super-hot sake.
The taste is powerful, and the flavor is more mature than expected.
The umami is strong.
The sharpness is good,
The sweet aroma swells up later and seems a bit clingy.
It would be better with yakitori with sauce or fatty meat.
Taste 2.5/5
