It is a limited edition product sold only at sake stores in Fukuyama City, where Tenpoichi is located🍶.
We got it when we went to see the Ashida River Fireworks Festival during the Obon vacation 🎆.
Tenpouichi sake tends to be dry, even in Hiroshima where most of the sake is sweet, but it has almost no aroma (maybe because I have a summer cold).
It has a natural flavor, so it can be served with both Japanese and Western food 😄.
Fresh aroma and smooth mouthfeel.
The rich umami of the rice is present, yet the taste is fine and fine due to the Fukuro-hozuri method.
Yamada-Nishiki is also known as the "king of sake rice. You can enjoy its deep flavor.

Hiroshima junmai sake made with Hachitan-nishiki is chilled and opened❗

After drinking Shochiku Ume Josen
I took a sip at room temperature...
It felt super light and dry 😂.
I drank other Junmai sake but it was spicy.
I'm not sure if the Shochiku Ume is sweet or not.

Clear and colorless
When drunk alone, the acidity of the sake stands out.
When paired with sashimi and other snacks, it enhances the flavor of the snacks and the sake as well.
Very good with sea urchin, which has a peculiar taste.
As the title suggests, it is "aggressive" from start to finish. The alcohol is very strong.
I feel like I got punched by my first Tenpouichi😅.
It's so strong 💪.
