Simple and clean, smooth and tasty. Yellow apple, honeydew melon, candied almond, coconut milk, white chocolate, stone.
Little hint of acidity, medium-low sweetness. Clean background bitterness, well restrained but adds some interesting maturity. A whisper of creaminess near the finish.
This one is subtler than some, but quite enjoyable and well balanced.
My wife went to Sapporo for a gynecological checkup and bought these souvenirs at Chitose Airport.

It's a very easy to drink sake with a very gentle and light dry taste that is typical of Taisetsu 🍶 It's good during a meal 😉.

The rice used is comet.
The rice is left in a tank buried in the snow during the winter, so I guess this is the carbon-neutral sake that is getting a lot of attention.
It is indeed a light and round summer sake.
As you drink it, you can taste the sweetness, which makes it a good sake to pair with well-balanced light fish.
I know it's only for summer, but it's only available in April!
